The Federal College of Education, Yola. The Federal College of Education, FCE Yola was established in 1974, as a middle level Teacher Training Institute. Hitherto, it was known as Federal advanced Teacher's College, (FATC) Yola. However, actual academic activities commenced during the 1975/76 session, with a total of one hundred and fifty (150) students under the leadership of the Pioneer Principal.

Requirements: Candidate for position of Chief Lecturer must possess a minimum of a Master's Degree with specialization in the areas advertised, with at least fifteen (15) years teaching and research experience; Evidence of NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate; Evidence of Registration with TRCN; Demonstration of good knowledge of computer; Demonstrate ability to offer academic and administrative leadership; Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise applied research/project/exhibition; Evidence of continuous research/invention/innovation in the area of specialization; Successful external assessment; Evidence of community service; Publications: Journal Articles: 15; Chapters in Books/Major: 5; Exhibitions or inventions: 5; Conference/Seminar Paper Presentations: 13.
