Job title: Chief Financial Officer, VP Finance & IT
About the Role The Chief Financial Officer, VP Finance & IT leads ChemTreat's global finance and IT functions, partnering with the President and leadership team to drive strategy, planning and performance in a complex, multinational organization. The role requires deep financial principles, hands-on business and change management, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable insights that improve profitability and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership for global finance and IT, aligning operations with business strategy and driving synergies across the organization.
- Partner with the CIO to execute digital IT strategy in support of service delivery, customer experience optimization, and front/back-office improvements to drive growth and profitability.
- Own development and improvement of core financial systems (ERP) and ensure timely, accurate reporting of ChemTreat financials.
- Develop forecasting processes, budgeting, and strategic planning; conduct detailed financial analyses to identify risks and opportunities and inform decision making.
- Lead the annual financial budgeting process and ensure compliance with US GAAP and Veralto accounting practices; consolidate global operating functions.
- Drive continuous improvement of transactional closing processes and reporting, and provide concise financial analysis to leadership.
- Review capital expenditure requests and assess ROI; support tax planning and compliance; identify initiatives to improve profits and efficiency.
- Build, mentor and lead diverse teams; foster collaboration and cross-functional partnership.
What We're Looking For
- BS or BA in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- Substantial operational experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles leading to CFO/VP Finance in a complex, global enterprise.
- Experience with full P&L ownership for at least $400M-$500M; international/multinational exposure.
- Experience in acquisitions/divestitures, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
- Previous VP level or equivalent for at least five years; willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, integrity, and ability to lead in a lean, hands-on environment; ability to build trusted relationships and partner with senior leadership.
Nice to Have
- MBA and/or CPA preferred; experience in a large international public company; experience driving digital IT strategy and service delivery improvements.
