About the Role We seek a nationally recognized leader to serve as Chief of the Division of Psychosocial Oncology within the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Department of Supportive Oncology. The Chief will provide academic leadership, oversee the Division’s faculty, clinical staff, and trainees, and help advance research, education, and high-quality psychosocial care for patients with cancer. What You'll Do
- Oversee the Division’s 26 Psychiatry and Psychology faculty and the interprofessional teams delivering state-of-the-art psychosocial care to cancer patients across the lifespan (adult and pediatric).
- Clinically lead interprofessional teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, palliative care physicians, social workers, nurses, and pharmacists within the unique Supportive Oncology Collaborative model.
- Provide strategic academic leadership, mentoring, and program development; drive funded research and clinical service delivery; collaborate with Dana-Farber’s disease centers and Harvard Medical School-affiliated partners to elevate the division's impact. What We're Looking For
- A psychiatrist or psychologist with an academic focus on cancer and currently holding a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) at the Associate or Full Professor level.
- A strong national reputation in psychosocial and supportive oncology with a track record of funded research and scholarly productivity.
- Experience in clinical service delivery and program development, as well as demonstrated mentoring, managerial, and leadership skills.
- Eligibility to have clinical privileges at Dana-Farber and collaborating hospitals, as appropriate. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $150,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year.
- Salary, benefits and compensation will be commensurate with experience and hospital policies.
