The Gaya Polytechnic was established in 2025 by His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as the second Polytechnic in Kano, being a forward-looking institution committed to excellence in technical and vocational education, conceived to offer innovative and industry-driven programmes.

Chief Coach Location: Gaya, Kano
Requirements: Candidates must possess any of the following: a Good Bachelor's Degree in Physical and Health Education with at least seventeen years coaching experience; a Master's Degree in Physical and Health Education with at least fourteen years of post-qualification cognate experience; professional registration with relevant body and a Coaching Certificate is mandatory; Salary Grade CONTEDISS 14.
