Chemist - Production

About the Role The Chemist - Production will operate and monitor medical and industrial gas cylinder filling processes in a GMP environment, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. This position requires hands-on operation of fill equipment, coordination with maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. What You'll Do

• Under routine supervision, operate manufacturing fill processes under GMP conditions for medical fill operations.
• Maintain compliance with external regulatory agencies including FDA GMP, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS, as well as all Linde policies and procedures.
• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines; manage empty/full cylinder quantities, styles, and product; fill necessary product.
• Operate and maintain fill process equipment; interface with maintenance technicians and vendors; engage resources for safe startup, shutdown, and abnormal situations.
• Oversee a variety of complex operations in a production environment; operate equipment and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Perform visual and physical tests on each cylinder before filling; determine whether retesting and/or repairs are required.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures.
• Support safety and quality departments by ensuring all employees comply with safety requirements and training materials. What We're Looking For
• Four-year technical degree with emphasis on chemistry and math or equivalent work/industry experience.
• Ability to read, write legibly, perform basic math, and possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to roll 200+ lb cylinders and lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions throughout the year.
• Flexibility to work starting and quitting times (2-3 hours). Compensation & Benefits
