Chemical Process Engineer
Responsibilities
- Monitor chemical process performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing process issues.
- Partner with plant operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams to improve process performance, reliability, capacity, efficiency, and uptime.
- Develop and implement chemical process improvements, including changes to process conditions, piping, valves, controls, and operating procedures.
- Support the design and execution of process engineering projects, including small capital projects, equipment installations, and plant upgrades.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and block flow diagrams.
- Conduct field assessments and audits of chemical processing equipment and support troubleshooting of process and equipment performance issues.
