Chemical Manufacturing Technician
Our specialty manufacturing client in Newburyport is seeking to hire a Chemical Manufacturing Technician. Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hour + 10% shift differential Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8-hour shifts Bonus: Eligible for annual performance bonus (target 5%)
Your qualifications for the Chemical Manufacturing Technician position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment and tools
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Manufacturing, chemical processing, laboratory, or industrial experience preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments
For the Chemical Manufacturing Technician, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Set up, operate, and clean reactors, pumps, transfer systems, and related production equipment
- Load raw materials and support batch manufacturing processes
- Monitor production operations and record process data accurately
- Transfer, stage, and store materials used throughout the manufacturing process
- Perform equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance
- Collect samples and complete quality checks as required
- Maintain organized work areas and follow all safety and environmental procedures
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and supporting production goals
