Job Description

• Neo Homes Limited is seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Chef to join our team.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Plan menus and recommend new dishes where necessary.
• Ensure all meals are prepared and presented to high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety standards.
• Monitor kitchen inventory, manage ingredients, and minimise food wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Manage kitchen equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
• Prepare meals within scheduled timeframes.
• Comply with all company policies and food safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Relevant culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
