About the Role As Leader Programme Armatures de sièges, you will lead the convergence of multiple technical product-process specifications to meet stakeholder needs (safety, regulation, service, design, and process) across all lifecycle phases (development, industrialization, manufacturing, use, maintenance, recycling). You will manage the armatures of the Renault group’s front and rear seats as part of the Seat and Safety team at Renault Technocentre in Guyancourt, within the Atelier Siège et Sécurité and alongside a broader team of 65 engineers responsible for seat studies and safety systems across Renault and Dacia sites. What You'll Do
- Build the technical strategy for front and rear seat armatures and define the best technical definitions covering multiple specifications based on business needs and stakeholder inputs (safety, regulation, service, design, process)
- Deploy the execution plan of the strategy with Armature Modules specialists
- Manage budgets and track expenses
- Coordinate contributors to the technical definition within your scope, prioritizing stakeholder requirements
- Study the impacts of technical choices on performance (regulatory compliance, customer safety, vehicle quality, economic performance)
- Lead arbitrations among specifications to find the best compromise, including when there are convergence challenges at project milestones
- Decide the best technical solutions on complex design problems
- Contribute to building technical dossiers leading to the nomination of external suppliers
- Propose cost and/or quality improvements to raise standards in your field What We're Looking For
- Experience leading a technical program addressing seat armatures (front and/or rear) and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (safety, regulatory, design, manufacturing, supplier)
- Ability to manage budgets, define delivery plans, and monitor expenditures
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills to arbitrate between stakeholder demands and constraints
- Capability to analyze trade-offs and decide optimal technical solutions for complex design problems
- Experience building technical dossiers that support supplier nomination and external collaborations
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements affecting seat systems and vehicle safety
