About the Role Hyundai America Technical Center (HATCI) is seeking a Chassis Driveline Engineer to join the Chassis Engineering Design Team. The role focuses on the design, development, and validation of driveline systems for U.S. SUV, pickup, and off-road vehicles, ensuring a robust, high-performance driveline architecture and seamless cross-functional integration.
What You'll Do
- End-to-end driveline design and development for 4WD/AWD vehicles (transfer cases, power transfer units, and related mechanisms) to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Design and development of axle assemblies and shaft components (solid rear axles, front/rear half-shafts, prop shafts, driveshafts) to withstand high-torque off-road conditions while meeting weight and durability goals.
