About the Role We’re hiring a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN at Ganado Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to lead quality care and support resident well-being. This on-site role requires reliable shifts, strong clinical skills, and the ability to supervise a care team to ensure high standards of resident care. What You'll Do
- Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
- Administer Medications: Safely administer medications as prescribed.
- Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in accordance with policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
- Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to maintain resident health and comfort.
- Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders in charts.
- Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation and complete nursing assessments.
- Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication.
- Educate Support Staff: Educate staff on nursing policies and resident care needs.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Promote infection control and safe body mechanics.
- Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacements as necessary. What We're Looking For
- Licensed RN or LVN in good standing.
- Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to organize workflows.
