About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks a transformational leader to assume the role of Chair of Dermatology. The successful candidate will guide a department with strong clinical foundations toward strategic expansion, expand outpatient access, and strengthen integration with UCHealth, positioning dermatology as a key access point and referral gateway within the health system. What You'll Do
- Lead the Department of Dermatology and drive growth in Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, immunodermatology, and related areas.
- Expand clinical capacity, geographic reach, and outpatient access in coordination with UCHealth.
- Develop programs in complex medical dermatology, melanoma and cutaneous oncology, cutaneous lymphoma care, medical aesthetics, and clinical trials.
- Grow clinical and research faculty, enhance mentorship and leadership development, and advance education and training. What We're Looking For
- A distinguished academic dermatologist with proven leadership and vision to grow a department.
- Strong record in clinical care, education, and research; experience in Mohs surgery and/or dermatopathology desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and expand multidisciplinary cancer programs and clinical trials.
- Commitment to mentorship and development of faculty and trainees; ability to collaborate across UCHealth and the broader health system. Nice to Have
- Experience expanding cancer services and multidisciplinary melanoma programs.
- Track record in clinical trials and translational research; success in attracting faculty and external funding.
- Expertise in medical aesthetics and training.
