About the Role As a Certified Welding Inspector leading QA/QC at a premier structural steel fabrication facility, you will oversee the quality program and ensure alignment with AISC standards. You will lead a high-performance team and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing quality. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the QA/QC program for structural steel fabrication, ensuring compliance with AISC standards.
- Develop, implement, and optimize quality systems, procedures, and audits.
- Coach and mentor staff; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects.
- Collaborate with production leadership to improve safety, quality, and throughput. What We're Looking For
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, preferably structural steel fabrication.
- Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to manage a quality management system.
- Knowledge of AISC standards and QA/QC best practices. Nice to Have
- Prior experience as QA/QC Manager or supervisor in metal fabrication. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
