About the Role Join Logan Health as a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CVOR FA). Under the surgeon's direction, you will perform first assistant responsibilities and support cardiovascular procedures, contributing to high-stakes surgeries and patient care. This role emphasizes collaboration, precision, and ongoing professional growth in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a skilled surgical team and assist surgeons in performing life-saving procedures.
• Provide precise surgical exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure.
• Participate in preoperative patient management and coordinate with healthcare providers for the patient plan of care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple service lines, including challenging cardiovascular surgeries (CABG, TAVR, Valves).
• Proficiently assist in CABG, TAVR, and Valves.
• Assist at the end of the procedure by stabilizing the drain with suture appropriately. What We're Looking For
• Graduate of approved Surgical Technologist programs or military training with First Assist certification.
• Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
• Graduate of a First Assistant (FA) program.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ scrub and/or first assistant experience; CVOR experience preferred.
• Proficient in multiple service lines.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities; able to work in a team and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
• Must possess CVOR first assist experience in CABG, TAVR and Valves. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $32.25 - $52.15 per hour, depending on experience.
• Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana.
• Schedule: Day Shift - 10 hours; Full-Time.
• Relocation & Sign-On Bonus: May be available on a case-by-case basis for qualified candidates.
