About the Role The Certified Surgical Technician (CST) supports surgical teams in the OR, ensuring sterile technique, proper instrumentation, and coordination with the circulating nurse to facilitate safe procedures. You will contribute to patient safety and efficient case flow within Lifepoint Health facilities in Missoula, MT. What You'll Do
- Completion of case carts
- Proper communication with operating room staff
- Cleaning and care of operating rooms, core, and equipment
- Decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of instrumentation
- Surgeon preference card maintenance
- Supply outdates
- Weekday and weekend call coverage What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology
- Certification: NBSTSA National Certification as a Surgical Technologist; American Heart Association BLS within one month of hire
- Experience: Preferred 1 year acute care experience
- Skills: Verbal, written, and computer literacy; knowledge of aseptic technique and human anatomy Nice to Have
