About the Role We are seeking a Certified Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for programs at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) in Dayton, OH. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach agile teams, and help remove impediments to ensure successful delivery.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for cross-functional teams.
- Coach team members and product owners on Scrum practices and agile principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a well-prioritized backlog and ensure clear delivery goals.
- Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions to maintain momentum.
- Promote continuous improvement with data-driven metrics and retrospectives.
What We're Looking For
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar (e.g., PSM) accreditation.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in fast-paced environments.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, Scrum artifacts, and project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a defense or government contractor environment or with DoD standards.
- Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe) is a plus.
