About the Role This position serves as certified registered anesthestist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services. While a CRNA will always be accountable for any anesthetic he/she performs, all anesthetics performed at DCH will be under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children's Anesthesia Group, Inc. "CAG". The CRNA utilizes specialized knowledge, skill, research and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population. The CRNA utilizes the pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for anesthetic induction, maintenance and emergence. What You'll Do
- Provide anesthesia care as a CRNA within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services at Dayton Children's.
- Work under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children's Anesthesia Group, Inc. ("CAG").
- Utilize advanced professional training to promote optimum care of neonatal/pediatric patients and families.
- Use pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising Anesthesiologist to devise plans for anesthetic induction, maintenance and emergence. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduation from an accredited AANA CRNA program
- CRNA certification and licensure in the State of Ohio
- PALS certification
- Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills
- Good manual dexterity and physical/emotional stamina Nice to Have
- 1-3 years neonatal/pediatric experience
