About the Role Logan Health Brendan House is seeking a full-time Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing therapy team in Kalispell, Montana. This resident-centered role helps residents regain strength, improve mobility, and maintain independence, inside a collaborative care environment that values compassion, connection, and quality care.
What You'll Do
- Provide therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Assist with individualized treatment plans to support resident goals
- Deliver care that reflects resident age, culture, condition, and functional needs
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Follow therapy standards, payer guidelines, and department expectations
- Collaborate with the care team on resident goals, progress, and discharge planning
- Use therapy equipment, materials, and techniques safely and appropriately
- Maintain productivity, attendance, and documentation standards
- Support a positive, respectful, and resident-centered care environment
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current Montana Physical Therapy Assistant license or temporary Montana PTA license
- Current CPR certification, as applicable to assigned area
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
