About the Role Certified Pharmacy Technician in our Patient Care Center of Excellence supports pharmacy services in a fast-paced, phone-based environment. This role combines office-based or remote work with collaboration across patients, doctors, and facilities to ensure high-quality patient care and smooth onboarding of new patients.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment and perform high-volume data entry and processing of prescription information with speed and accuracy.
- Utilize drug knowledge to receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers from multiple pharmacy software systems.
- Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties such as prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks; conduct outbound calls to patients as needed.
