About the Role The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides and directs Occupational Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and related documentation and communication, under physician orders. This role supports Kentfield Hospital's LTACH services across patient populations with complex medical conditions. What You'll Do
- Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and related documentation and communication, under physician orders.
- Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
- Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals; apply professional standards of practice.
- Apply knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, and maintain professional standards. What We're Looking For
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA.
- Current, valid license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- One (1) year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour.
