About the Role Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders. This Full-time position will be based in our Kentfield Hospital location in Marin. What You'll Do
- Provide and direct occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and related documentation and communication.
- Work under physician's orders and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
- Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
- Apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
- Identify components of the therapy process and implement them. What We're Looking For
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Nice to Have
- One year of experience (preferred) and knowledge of regulatory standards; strong professional image and computer literacy. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $31.58 - $38.50 per hour.
