About the Role Join Bay Area Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Full Time Nights. Working under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you will provide compassionate patient care and support clinical and clerical tasks to promote health, safety, and dignity in the Medical Care Unit.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily living activities and basic patient care
- Collect objective data and support therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate unit activities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, valid Oregon CNA certification (2025 unified requirements)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer use and electronic documentation
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred)
- Previous CNA experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $19.36 - $28.74 per hour (USD)
