About the Role Join Credenza Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on nursing care focused on daily living, personal care, and supportive services enabling individuals to live well in their communities.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will perform hands-on nursing care with an emphasis on daily care needs and personal hygiene. Monitor health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services provided. Provide assistance and/or supervision to individuals in daily living, personal care, and community/social integration. Maintain safe and quality supports, initiate emergency procedures when needed, and use equipment correctly and safely. Report hazardous conditions, accidents, or incidents to supervisor. Maintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation. Attend team meetings and training as required. Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you do. What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on nursing care with emphasis on daily living, personal care, and daily hygiene
- Monitor health conditions and ensure quality services
- Assist or supervise individuals in daily living activities, personal care, and community/social integration
- Maintain safe and quality supports; initiate emergency procedures as needed; use equipment correctly and safely
- Report hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, or incidents to supervisor
- Maintain current progress notes and documentation
- Assist with resident activity programs, outings, and appointments; assist with household activities and meal preparation as needed
- Prepare rooms for admissions and discharge; attend team meetings and training; maintain confidentiality What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of CNA certification program; current CNA certification issued by state relevant to the position
- One year CNA experience preferred
- Current in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
