About this role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate, and efficient patient care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff. The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, collecting and documenting patient information, supporting therapeutic interventions, and promoting patient safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being. The CNA also helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment, supports unit activities, follows established healthcare procedures, and collaborates effectively with patients, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The position requires strong communication, observation, organization, customer service, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to use electronic health records and basic computer systems. The CNA must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
