Job title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the Role The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors. The role supports a warm, home-like environment and helps ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available at Bronx Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
  • Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Shift coverage includes 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am

What We're Looking For

  • Valid CNA certification required
  • Must possess a GED and complete CNA coursework; licensed CNA in accordance with state laws
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required experience: long-term care or skilled nursing experience of 1 year
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
