About the Role Join Endeavor Health as a Certified Neurophysiology Technician in Neurodiagnostics at Swedish Hospital Chicago. The role provides care across the age spectrum and supports comprehensive neurodiagnostic testing to deliver high-quality patient care. What You'll Do
- Perform EEG testing including Routine, Long-term/Continuous, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and Ambulatory EEG
- Conduct second modalities of NCS/EMG, IONM, Autonomics, and/or EPs according to established guidelines
- Maintain logs and QA records; deliver requisitions to medical records; ensure dictated reports are copied and delivered per procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, ACNS, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC; monitor and communicate changes to management and staff
- Perform related clerical duties: scheduling patients, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, billing, filing, etc.
- Shape a culture of teamwork, positive morale and customer service demonstrated by excellent patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction scores
- Investigate, document and resolve complaints or incidents and notify the manager for sensitive cases
- Support interviews and orientation for new trainees/employees, and assist in evaluating performances when asked What We're Looking For
- High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience in related field
- College-level neuroanatomy knowledge; competency in medical terminology
- Ability to perform all neurophysiology lab testing modalities
- Ability to work independently, recognize problems and take initiative
- Strong communication, written and verbal skills; able to work with external customers of all ages
- Ability to act as a team builder and adapt to change; model for Always Behaviors
- Certifications: ABRET credentials (R.EEG T, CLTM, CNIM, R.NCS.T., R.EPT) or EEG/EP registration; CNIM certification desirable by end of 2nd year
- CPR or BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required Nice to Have
- Certification as CNIM desirable by end of 2nd year (as referenced in job requirements) Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $35.16 - $54.50; pay rate determined by expertise and years of experience
