About the Role VNACJ Community Health Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Primary Care team at the Keyport, NJ location. This full-time role includes an evening and weekend rotation and involves travel between four CHC locations to ensure consistent patient care. What You'll Do
- Support organization’s mission with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
- Assist providers with patient workflow and maintain clinical records.
- Execute orders and perform related duties as ordered according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain laboratory proficiency and required log books and records.
- Assist in coordination, management and documentation of medications, supplies and referrals.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies.
- Adhere to the organization’s policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.

- High School diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved school.
- 6 months+ of supervised medical assistant experience preferred.
- Experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
- CPR certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s license and auto insurance. Compensation & Benefits
