About the Role The Cellular Therapy Financial Counselor is responsible for coordinating all financial phases of Stem Cell Transplant and Immune Effector Cell (IEC) therapy at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and its partner facilities, including a detailed review of insurance benefits covering transplant and IEC services, coverage maximums and limitations, patient financial counseling, and related processes.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate all financial phases of Stem Cell Transplant and Immune Effector Cell therapy at Dana Farber and partner facilities, including documentation and communication with patients.
- Conduct detailed reviews of insurance benefits covering transplant and IEC services, including coverage maximums and limitations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient financial clearance and billing workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Clinical background to ensure clinical accuracy and alignment with transplant services.
- Knowledge of insurance benefits and payer policies related to stem cell transplantation and IEC therapy.
- Strong communication and patient-facing skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $52,200.00 - $58,400.00 per year
