Job title: CDL Class-A Truck Driver
About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a CDL Class-A Truck Driver to transport live chickens from broiler farms to processing facilities as part of our fully integrated poultry operations.
What You'll Do
- Drive a truck to transport chickens from the broiler farms to processing plants.
- Pick up chickens at farms and deliver to live haul.
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water).
- Bind and unbind cages; ensure proper handling of birds.
- Comply with DOT and state driver training and documentation requirements.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED and two years of verifiable driving experience.
- Class-A CDL; no major driving violations; able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
- Ability to read, write, and present information clearly; good communication skills.
- Ability to calculate hours of service and complete log book pages.
- Reasoning ability for problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Willingness to work long hours as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: 28.00 USD per hour.
