About the Role CDL Class A Driver opportunities with VFR Transport Inc. in Ontario, CA, delivering freight for an Amazon Freight Partner program. Drivers operate on local routes, home after each shift, and are employed by a local transportation company rather than Amazon. What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle to deliver freight on daily local routes using Amazon equipment and technology.
- Complete routes that are roughly 300-500 miles round trip with some no-touch or drop-and-hook freight.
- Maintain on-time deliveries and communicate with customers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies; adhere to DOT regulations.
- Enjoy consistent year-round work with a minimum of 40 hours per week and home time after every shift. What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Must successfully pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Clean driving record and ability to use GPS and handheld devices.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing) to communicate with the public and understand highway traffic signage. Compensation & Benefits
