About the Role CDL Class A drivers for Northern Lights Expedite, Inc. will deliver freight for the Amazon Freight Partner program in the Detroit metro area using Amazon equipment. Routes typically range 300-500 miles per day, and drivers may operate day cabs or sleeper trucks; deliveries can be no-touch (drop and hook) or include a few live loads. On-the-spot offers may be available, with year-round work and a minimum of 40 hours per week. What You'll Do
- Deliver freight using Amazon Equipment and operate the vehicle on assigned routes.
- Navigate routes and manage schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Work with modern technology on routes and handle no-touch and occasional live-loads. What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.
- 12 months of driving experience.
- Clean MVR/DAC and ability to pass background and DOT drug screen.
- Able to operate GPS and handheld apps; English proficiency. Nice to Have
- Experience with Amazon Equipment.
- Familiarity with GPS/GIS equipment. Compensation & Benefits
