Pay Details & Schedule
- **Average Annual Pay: $95,000
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,850
- Mileage Pay: $0.48–$0.58 CPM
- Yearly CPM Increases: $0.01 until reaching the maximum rate of $0.58 CPM
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
- Approximately 1,700 miles per week
- Tuesday–Saturday schedule
- Start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
- Average of 2–3 layovers per week
- Approximately 12-hour workdays
- Online orientation available
Job Details
- Dedicated grocery freight account
- Starting location: Troutdale, OR
- Deliveries to stores and warehouses throughout Oregon and Northern California
- Preloaded refrigerated trailers with approximately 2–4 stops per load
- Drivers unload using an electric pallet jack and/or liftgate
- May be assigned to assist other local accounts 1–3 times per week; outsourced work is paid at a daily rate
- Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
- Trucks must remain at the account during time off
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience**
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be willing and able to chain when weather requires
- Comfortable driving in winter weather and snow
- Able to unload freight using an electric pallet jack and/or liftgate
- Must be flexible and willing to assist other local accounts as needed
