Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated refrigerated grocery account in Perryville, Maryland.
$1,725 Average Weekly | $2,136 Top 10% Weekly | $89,723 Average Annual | Home Daily | Night Shift
This is a dedicated local position with strong earning potential, but it is not a typical driving-only local job. Drivers make multiple grocery-store deliveries and are responsible for physically handling freight.
💰 PAY
- $1,725 average weekly earnings
- $2,136 top 10% weekly earnings
- $89,723 average annual earnings
- $0.50–$0.54 CPM, based on qualifying experience
- Approximately 1,600 miles per week
- $20 per stop
- $150 weekly supplemental pay
- $55 per load
- $50 metro pay for qualifying metro-store deliveries
Actual earnings vary based on miles, stops, loads, experience, and applicable carrier pay policies.
🏠 HOME DAILY | NIGHT SHIFT
- Home daily
- 7-day-per-week operation
- No guaranteed set days off
- Start times generally between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM
- Variable workdays and schedules
- Weekend work is required
This is not a Monday–Friday local position. Drivers must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and varying schedules.
🥶 FREIGHT & DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dedicated refrigerated/multi-temperature grocery freight
- Multiple grocery-store deliveries
- Approximately 1,600 miles per week
- Store stockroom deliveries
- Returns transported back to the distribution center
- Electric pallet jack operation
This is a hands-on freight position, not a no-touch account.
Drivers are responsible for:
- Loading and unloading freight
- Moving pallets into store stockrooms
- Operating an electric pallet jack
- Reloading store returns
- Pulling and maneuvering freight weighing up to 75 lbs
- Safely handling freight throughout the delivery process
✅ DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months qualifying CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work evening/night start times
- Weekend availability
- Ability to work any day of the week
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Ability to load and unload freight
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack
- Ability to handle freight weighing up to 75 lbs
- Reliable attendance
- Safe driving history
- Meet applicable DOT/FMCSA and carrier qualification requirements
📍 HIRING AREA
Drivers must live within 45 miles of 81 Belvedere Road, Perryville, MD.
Important: Trucks cannot be taken home, so reliable personal transportation to and from the facility is required.
