Key Responsibilities

Perform piano accompaniment during:

Weekly Sunday worship services
-
Choir rehearsals
-
Special religious services and events
-
Play prelude, offertory, hymns, and postlude music
-
Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled services
-
Coordinate with Chaplain staff on music selection and scheduling
-
Support congregational singing and liturgical flow
-
Maintain professionalism and appropriate appearance at all times
Schedule
- Weekly Sunday Services: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (up to 52 per year)
- Weekly Rehearsals: Up to 52 annually
- Special Services: Up to 12 per year
- Special Rehearsals: Up to 12 per year
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Piano or Organ Performance (required)

Minimum 2 years experience as a church or chapel pianist (within last 5 years)

Ability to:
-
Sight-read music
-
Perform four-part harmony
-
Strong familiarity with hymnal music and liturgical services
-
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
-
Letter of recommendation from a Senior Chaplain (within last 12 months)
