About the role

Category management role in luxury retail. Scope of the role will be to Support in Managing product portfolio, drive topline & bottom line. The profile involves work on Range Planning, Pricing, Promotions/Offers to deliver Sales growth and Profitability objectives using Analytics, Customer Research, Product Trends & retail feedback to deliver the objectives. The role collaborates with Factory, Vendors, Retail, Marketing & production. Drive Top line & Bottom line Growth & Target Achievement. Job Profile Product Portfolio

• Managing the universe of designs for sales growth & Gross contribution as per strategy defined by Category Manager
• Rationalization of the designs based on performance in terms of profitability or sales
• Track & Understand competition benchmarks & trends in the luxury jewelry segment in terms of the designs, pricing, range & policy
• Identification of product gaps & need for refreshers to grow sales using analytics, retail feedback & insights based on consumer research and early adoption of consumer trends.
• Product Life cycle management - Evaluate sales performance, margin profile, role of each design for the brand and in the portfolio to manage life cycle of the product. Pricing
• Assist in the pricing of products in each category and price / weight band as per the profitability objective laid down by the category Manager. Retail:
• Drive sell-thru activations, offers & incentives for retail team
