Job title: Category Manager - Commercial Interconnect
About the Role The Category Manager - Commercial Interconnect will define and execute product and supplier strategy for the Americas, developing relationships with suppliers, customers and the Avnet sales team to identify growth opportunities. The role will analyze data from multiple sources to ensure competitive pricing and drive market share gains, profitability, and product excellence.
What You'll Do
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for brand product, technology solutions and/or offerings for the Americas market.
- Strategically procure category products and manage supplier relationships.
- Execute strategic customer growth plans and maintain business relationships with suppliers.
- Analyze program impact for identified markets/customers and report results.
- Maintain and share trending knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers in the supplier product market.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Market knowledge and recent experience with commercial interconnect products.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data from multiple sources to inform pricing and product decisions.
- Experience in strategic procurement and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to develop relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
- Familiarity with product marketing and category strategies; knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.
