Casualty Claims Adjuster

About the Role Casualty Claims Adjuster will manage a portfolio of EL, PL, product liability and commercial motor fleet claims from notification through to closure. The role involves appointing investigators and expert witnesses, instructing defence solicitors on litigated claims, and collaborating with brokers and AIG policyholders to deliver high-quality customer service. What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of EL, PL, product liability, and commercial motor fleet claims from notification to resolution.
• Appoint investigators and expert witnesses; instruct defence solicitors on litigated claims and attend court when required.
• Work closely with brokers and AIG policyholders to resolve claims while providing a high level of customer service, including client review meetings.
• Maintain accurate reserving in line with AIG’s claims reserving philosophy.
• Communicate with internal AIG stakeholders as required.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution while minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expenses. What We're Looking For
• Experience handling motor bodily injury/liability claims.
• Basic knowledge of legal/regulatory and litigation/procedural requirements for this line of business.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Time management – ability to manage and prioritize workload and diary management.
• Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
• A track record in building relationships with clients and brokers.
• CIP qualification or equivalent is a distinct advantage. Nice to Have
