About this role
Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team on a casual basis. The HCA will work under the direction of nursing staff to provide personal care and assist residents with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Assist with serving meals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications

Health Care Aide Certificate (recognized program)

Current CPR/First Aid certification

Experience in Supportive Living Setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

Reliable and flexible (must be available for various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends)
