About the Role

Are you looking for flexible work over the busy Christmas period? Do you enjoy being on the road, delivering great service, and working as part of a supportive team?

We are seeking a Casual Class 1 Driver to join our Wellington team. This role plays an important part in ensuring freight is safely delivered and collected while maintaining excellent customer service and operational standards. No two days are the same. You'll be involved in driving, freight handling, deliveries, documentation, and supporting the wider team where needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the vehicle safely and efficiently
• Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
• loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Assisting in unloading linehaul trucks daily.

What you Bring:

• Hardworking, honest, and reliable
• Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
• Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
• Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
• Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 1
• DG cert/endorsement is a preferred requirement
