Responsibilties
- Attend to customers promptly and process sales transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, operate POS machine, handle cash, transfers, and balance daily sales.
- Conduct opening and closing cash drawer counts and reconcile daily sales.
- Record all sales, cash and expenses transactions properly and submit daily sales report.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
- Keep the checkout counter/cashier station tidy, organized and welcoming at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A First Degree in any relevant course.
- A background in accounting or business would be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a cashier or sales assistant.
- Accuracy with calculations and cash handling.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and basic computer/POS skills.
- Must be presentable, honest, and willing to work weekends.
- Must reside within proximity to the work location.
