Cashier - Tush Mart Kubwa (Noble)
Role Overview: As a Cashier, you are the face of Tush Mart at checkout — responsible for delivering quick, friendly, and accurate service to every customer. You’ll operate the POS system, manage transactions, and contribute to creating a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer purchases using POS systems
- Ensure pricing accuracy and scan all items efficiently
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
- Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges professionally
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Respond to customer inquiries with friendliness and courtesy
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards
Requirements
- SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is an advantage
- Familiarity with POS machines and basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A welcoming, patient, and customer-first attitude
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
