About the Role Join Mizuho's Global Transaction Banking Americas as a Sales Manager for Cash Management who will develop and expand the global cash management business, focusing on Japanese and US corporate clients, domestic and cross-border opportunities, and related FX and card services. What You'll Do
- Establish and execute a portfolio sales plan to meet revenue targets and KPIs.
- Proactively originate, develop and manage new and existing target clients for domestic, cross-border and global transaction banking opportunities (Cash Management and FX).
- Lead, manage and execute the end-to-end sales process; create sales presentations; respond to RFPs; assemble deal teams; coordinate and write responses; finalize proposals; pitch; implement with cross-functional teams and close.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline; attend industry conferences; research regulatory and tax issues related to corporate cash and treasury management; maintain and update customer files; write call reports.
- Create internal approvals; liaise with teams implementing cash management services; improve knowledge sharing.
- Partner with Product Management to understand offerings, share client needs and market trends; provide feedback to the Transaction Banking team.
- Partner with Relationship Managers in the Americas and Japan; proactively manage opportunities; create Product Account Plans; build strong client relationships; conduct client calls; provide product solutions and expertise. What We're Looking For
- Bilingual Japanese and English (spoken and written); Spanish preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in transaction banking.
- Preferably managing relationships for Japanese subsidiaries operating in the Americas, but not essential if candidate has significant commercial bank client experience.
- Broad knowledge of cash management services; working capital solutions, treasury management practices, advisory services, and credit.
- Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Documented success in achieving new business and annuity sales targets.
- Ability to manage deal coordination across regions / branches and departments.
- Hands-on, positive can-do attitude toward internal process complexity.
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills as an optional/preferred qualification. Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 - $125,000 USD per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
