  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the pricing parameters and guidelines of existing and newly executed client agreements;
  • Have the ability to understand any contractual changes, updates and expirations, then to translate those changes into system updates to ensure there is no interruption within the invoicing mechanisms;
  • Review system generated billing data intended for invoice generation on a regular and timely basis. Verify accuracy of billing data, and report and resolve any billing problems, issues, or discrepancies to stakeholders;
  • Verify and validate against established data points, and for the purpose of invoicing, identify items that are out of scope and determine as billable or non-billable;
  • Work with designated client service manager and/or account manager to finalize invoices for submission to client. Develop expertise in billing issues for assigned group of clients and interface with stakeholders for full understanding of contractual matters that impact invoicing a particular client and/or contract;
  • Confirm information captured as being outside of the parameters of client agreements and verify the accuracy of said services and/or provisions (i.e., confirmation of a change order, verification of additional billable services, etc.).
  • Review and identify programmatic gaps in time billing and data unit capture systems, processes and methodology. Define needed changes and provide recommendations in order to facilitate accurate and regularly updated contractual and billing pricing information to the various groups responsible for billable activities.
  • Ensure 100% completion of monthly invoicing for assigned inventory of clients and matters.
