Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to support the maintenance and upkeep of our resort facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for our guests and team members. The role involves carrying out carpentry repairs, civil maintenance tasks, and preventive maintenance activities while ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, team-oriented approach while contributing to efficient engineering operations and maintaining Avani's service standards.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Carpenter to maintain and enhance the quality, safety, and appearance of our resort facilities. In this role, you will carry out carpentry repairs, civil maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members. You will be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, responding promptly to maintenance requests, following safety procedures, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized. Working closely with the Engineering team, you will also support energy conservation initiatives, environmentally friendly practices, and cost-effective maintenance operations while upholding Avani's quality and service standards.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, woodworking, repairs, and general civil maintenance.
- Ability to carry out preventive maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to identify maintenance issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance requests and operational requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, professionalism, and environmentally responsible work practices.
