Career Service Senior Advisor

About the Role Rome Business School is looking for a Career Service Senior Advisor to join the Career Services team. The role focuses on hands-on delivery of career services, placement activities and employability initiatives, reporting to the Career Service Coordinator. The Senior Advisor will actively support students and companies, manage activities with autonomy, and contribute to maintaining structured, accurate and results-driven operations.

What You'll Do

• Deliver career advising and coaching activities to students, supporting them in defining and achieving professional goals, job search strategies, CV optimization, interview preparation, personal branding and market positioning.
• Deliver job readiness activities, workshops and individual advisory sessions.
• Manage assigned students and activities with autonomy, ownership and accuracy.
• Contribute to placement activities and employer engagement: identify opportunities, manage relationships with recruiters and HR/talent acquisition professionals, promote student profiles, support matching and follow-up on applications, interviews and placement outcomes.
• Work on placement data, reports and dashboards; track employability KPIs and ensure data accuracy; update systems with precision; identify anomalies.
• Contribute to the organization and delivery of Career Days, company presentations, recruiting activities, on-campus selections and matching initiatives; manage follow-up before and after events.
• Take direct responsibility for operational activities; work hands-on across recurring Career Services processes; escalate risks and issues in a timely and constructive way; support a collaborative, accountable team environment.

• Structured, accurate and reliable, energetic, determined and comfortable working directly on daily operations.
• A hands-on professional who is not a supervisor but a senior contributor delivering with quality, owning tasks and bringing maturity, reliability and informal leadership.
• Solid experience in Career Services, HR, Talent Acquisition, Employability or Placement and a readiness to take on a more senior delivery role with ownership on advisory, placement, reporting and stakeholder management.
