About this role

About the Role This guide explains how to apply for jobs using Olivet Nazarene University's Career Page. It outlines creating an account, finding jobs, submitting applications, and tracking status.

What You'll Do

  • Create an account or sign in on the My Career Page. You can sign in with Google or Facebook, or create a new account with your own credentials. Emails must be unique; you cannot reuse an email address.
  • Find jobs by typing a job title and optionally filtering by state, city, or zip code, then click Find Jobs and select a job to view details.
  • Apply for a job by clicking Apply, optionally importing a résumé to accelerate basic profile completion, and completing the employer-specific steps. Track your progress with the on-screen progress indicators and save or discard changes as you go.
  • Manage entries: you can delete an entry with Remove (confirmation required) and review the last saved time.
  • Provide required information: general contact details, work experience if requested, educational history if required, licenses/certificates, additional information (skills and languages), references, and any supplemental questions.
  • Upload attachments such as a résumé, licenses, or certificates. Use Choose attachment type to specify the type and Upload to attach files. If you previously uploaded attachments, you can reuse them via Recent Uploads. Supplemental attachments can be added if required.
  • Finalize the submission: review all sections, then proceed to Certify and Submit. You will see an Application Submitted confirmation when complete.
  • Check status and manage applications from the Applications & Status area, with separate views for Submitted, Incomplete, and In Progress applications.

What We're Looking For

  • Willingness to provide required information during the application process (contact information, work experience, education, certifications, licenses, languages).
  • Ability to add and organize attachments, including résumés and supporting documents, and to select appropriate attachment types.
  • Diligence in reviewing sections for accuracy and resolving any errors displayed in the progress indicators.
  • Comfort using online forms, saving progress regularly, and following employer-specific steps to complete an application.
