About the Role Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Rehab RN for a part-time position. Working within the RN scope per the Oregon State Board of Nursing, this role provides nursing care, patient education, and care coordination in the cardiac rehab setting. What You'll Do
- Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, apply the nursing process to the care of patients.
- Teach patients and significant others; document patient care in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient. What We're Looking For
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficient in use of a computer, internet access, word processing, and documenting in an electronic medical record system.
- Excellent reading, writing, and English communication; critical thinking and problem solving; flexible and able to prioritize.
- Demonstrates effective teaching skills; able to respond effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations; regular attendance.
- Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $47.82 - $71.26 USD per hour.
