About the Role Cardiac Patch Technician supports clinical data review and reporting for cardiac monitoring. You will review patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy using iRhythm's Quality Analysis tools for 100% of records, communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians per protocol, and perform 100% quality assurance before the final report is delivered. You will maintain proficiency requirements, including CCT certification, continuously develop ECG rhythm interpretation skills, and adhere to HIPAA and Good Clinical Practices.

What You'll Do

• Review patient's ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools for 100% of all records.
• Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities by notifying physicians as required according to physician notification protocol.
• Perform 100% of the quality assurance before the final report is delivered to the physician and provide report format modifications and additions as requested.
• Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify).
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
• Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role.
• Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• An experienced Certified Cardiac Technician with the following qualifications: High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree or two years college course work preferred.
• 2+ years' experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other requiring ECG interpretation.
• Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation.
• You're a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 120 days of hire; other related certifications or licenses may qualify (i.e. RN or Paramedic).
• Intermediate level PC proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail, positive attitude and a team player.
• Ability to use critical thinking skills; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Great work ethic and a desire to provide high-quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients.

Nice to Have

• An Associate degree or two years of college course work.
• Experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation.
