Job title: Capital Projects Procurement Specialist, Sr
About the Role The Capital Projects Procurement Senior Specialist partners with customer-facing leaders to implement Supplier Commercial Excellence for Entergy's Customer Centricity Organization. They lead commercial strategies and supplier performance for capital projects across assigned portfolios and function as Supply Chain's single point of contact for project execution within Entergy’s project delivery framework.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute commercial strategies and contract plans aligned to project needs; maximize value through aggregation of similar scopes and optimized terms and service levels.
- Lead bid-evaluate-award activities in line with Supply Chain policy; manage in-flight contracts and contract changes with project teams.
- Administer contract governance, supplier performance management, claims/dispute handling, and change orders; ensure compliance with contract provisions.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to deploy capital funds and support customer-centric initiatives; maintain professional relationships with suppliers and ensure ethical practices.
- Promote safety, conduct proactive supplier field engagement, and perform storm duties as assigned via SAMS.
- Interface with customer-facing functional leads, Project & Product Managers, Financial Business Partners, and other SC/Law/Tax teams to drive value and success measures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; 7-9+ years of supplier contracting/capital projects or 13+ years without a degree.
- Minimum 3+ years energy industry experience in capital projects contracting and procurement.
- Preferred certifications such as CPSM, APICS, etc.
- Technical knowledge of Entergy’s business model, capital projects portfolio, and commercial management processes; ability to create contracting strategies and negotiate complex contracts (EPC, Fixed Price, T&M).
- Strong stakeholder management, market intelligence, and safety mindset; capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.

- Industry certifications (CPSM, APICS) and additional procurement/contract management credentials.
