Capital Project Renewable Manager

About the Role The focus of this position is to deliver real options in the form of power generation and energy storage projects that support the corporation's sustainability goals of reducing carbon emissions. Manage large projects or programs and oversee execution of utility-scale renewable projects, leading cross-functional teams and mitigating risks to meet cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives. What You'll Do

• Develop a high-performance project execution team to deliver power generation and storage projects safely while supporting sustainability commitments.
• Understand requirements and contributions of critical roles and stakeholders; lead the project team to comply with corporate standards and guidelines.
• Navigate project execution through the Entergy Stage Gate process; develop and maintain business cases, estimates, schedules, and gate review deliverables.
• Support development of project deliverables through internal approvals; coordinate activities of stakeholders and working groups; maintain the Project Execution Plan.
• Coordinate efforts of all project participants including consultants and contractors; incorporate lessons learned and industry experience into the plan.
• Manage the project within the budget; implement project controls for scope, schedule, quality, cost, cash flow, risk, contracts and communications; provide clear, timely status reports and presentations to management.
• Identify, decide and take prompt action on issues that could impact project performance. What We're Looking For
• Experience leading large-scale capital projects, especially in power generation and energy storage; ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to build effective internal/external relationships (e.g., with contractors).
• Knowledge of Stage Gate processes, project management best practices, and corporate standards.
• Ability to manage risks, determine mitigation actions, and communicate status to management.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills; ability to prepare and issue status reports.
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies and project controls (scope, schedule, cost, quality, cash flow, risk, contracts, and communications). Nice to Have
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects; demonstrated success in delivering complex programs.
• Familiarity with Entergy-specific standards and governance processes; knowledge of lessons learned documentation.
